Ten Macon County students earned places on summer 2026 college honor lists released by Moberly Area Community College and Missouri State University.
MACC on Sept. 15 posted its summer President's List and Dean's List. The college said 242 students earned a 4.00 grade-point average in six or more semester hours for the President's List, and 119 students earned between a 3.50 and a 3.99 grade-point average in six or more semester hours for the Dean's List. Developmental and pass/fail courses are not counted in the grade-point average, according to MACC.
Named to the MACC President's List were Aiden Blackstun, of Macon; Ben Kauffman, of Macon; Bianca Lewis, of Macon; Asha Truitt, of Macon; and Jackson Williams, of Macon.
Named to the MACC Dean's List were Sophia Brower and Grace Howerton, of Macon; Jordan Harrington, of Bevier; and Bryleigh Grgurich, of La Plata.
Missouri State University on Aug. 21 released its summer 2026 dean's list. More than 1,200 undergraduates made the list. Undergraduates qualify by completing at least six summer credit hours with at least a 3.50 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale, the university said.
Layla Ferguson, of La Plata, was named to the Missouri State summer dean's list.
