LEBANON, Ill.
Fredrik Thulin, of McKendree, scored early in the second half, and Jacob Panagos, of Truman State, answered on a penalty kick as Truman State University and McKendree played to a 1-1 draw in men's soccer Saturday at Leemon Field in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match.
Thulin, of McKendree, scored at 52:24 on an assist from Dusan Dordevic, of McKendree.
Panagos, of Truman State, tied it at 56:41 on a penalty kick.
McKendree outshot Truman State 16-8 and put four shots on goal to three. Owen Robben, of Truman State, played all 90 minutes and made three saves. Luka Srzic, of McKendree, played all 90 minutes and made two saves. McKendree had seven corner kicks to Truman State's four. McKendree was called for 18 fouls to 11 for Truman State.
