KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Drury beat Truman State University 3-1 in men's soccer Saturday at Stokes Stadium in a Great Lakes Valley Conference opener.
Jacob Panagos, of Truman State, scored at 16:50 on an assist from Nolan Schulte, of Truman State.
Parker Jusseaume, of Drury, tied it at 30:37 on an assist from Lui Bull, of Drury. David Huang, of Drury, scored at 51:14 and again at 65:31, both on assists from Guilherme Maia, of Drury.
Drury outshot Truman State 23-8 and put 14 shots on goal to three. Owen Robben, of Truman State, played all 90 minutes and made 11 saves. Ben Barnett, of Drury, played all 90 minutes and made two saves.
Yellow cards went to Schulte, of Truman State, Landon Keisker, of Truman State, Huang, of Drury, Eyal Kibrik, of Drury, and Tyrell Phinn, of Drury.
Truman State is 1-2-0 and 0-1-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury is 3-1-0 and 1-0-0.
