Maryville and Truman State University played to a 2-2 draw in women's soccer Sunday at Bulldog Soccer Park in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match.
Emily Doane, of Maryville, scored unassisted at 28:00. Isabella Moilanen, of Maryville, made it 2-0 at 58:46 on an assist from Hailey Scheuer, of Maryville.
Quinn Nauman, of Truman State, scored unassisted at 65:44. Lizzy Peng, of Truman State, tied it at 77:50 on an assist from Abby Hutteger, of Truman State.
Maryville outshot Truman State 20-16 and put 11 shots on goal to 11. Agnes Vilen, of Maryville, played all 90 minutes and made eight saves. Mikayla Thomas, of Truman State, played 63:39 and made six saves. Siman Loethen, of Truman State, played 26:21 and made three saves. Both teams had four corner kicks.
Helene Braren, of Maryville, Scheuer, of Maryville, and Moilanen, of Maryville, each took four shots. Peng, of Truman State, took three shots, all on goal. Sam Busch, of Truman State, took three shots. Nauman, of Truman State, Hanna Ritter, of Truman State, Morgan Puszkar, of Truman State, and Hannah Sternau, of Truman State, each took two shots.
