Truman State University beat Lincoln (MO) 2-1 in women's soccer Sunday at Bulldog Soccer Park in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match on Family Day.
Mackenzie Wright, of Truman State, scored at 43:41 on an assist from Lizzy Peng, of Truman State. Tetee Jallah, of Lincoln (MO), tied it at 48:48. Hanna Ritter, of Truman State, scored the winner at 81:47 on an assist from Morgan Puszkar, of Truman State.
Truman State outshot Lincoln (MO) 17-9 and put six shots on goal to six. Mikayla Thomas, of Truman State, played all 90 minutes and made five saves. Kanon Dehama, of Lincoln (MO), played all 90 minutes and made four saves. Truman State had nine corner kicks to Lincoln (MO)'s one. Truman State was called for 10 fouls to six for Lincoln (MO).
Yellow cards went to Ashley Klaus, of Truman State, at 54:47 and Aubrey Kaupas, of Truman State, at 82:25.
